Bears lose former special teams ace to Steelers

· Yahoo Sports

Another former Chicago Bears veteran is signing elsewhere in free agency. On Monday, running back Travis Homer agreed to a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Visit bettingx.bond for more information.

Homer joined the Bears as a free agent prior to the 2023 season, coming over from the Seattle Seahawks, and spent the last three years as a core special teams player while also serving as running back depth. After his first season as a Bear, Homer missed a combined 14 games the next two seasons due to injuries. In 2025, he totaled 10 tackles on special teams and carried the ball one time for negative yardage.

The departure of Homer creates another hole for Richard Hightower's special teams unit after losing players such as Amen Ogbongbemiga and Jonathan Owens. It also leaves the Bears with only four running backs on the roster who have appeared in a regular season game (D'Andre Swift, Kyle Monangai, Roschon Johnson, and Brittain Brown).

Colorado football to host elite 4-star wide receiver for spring game

· Yahoo Sports

Colorado football is back on the field this week with two weeks left of spring camp, but the job on the recruiting trail does not stop. With the spring game coming on April 11, many recruits will use that day to visit Boulder. One of the known visits for that day is four-star wide receiver Kahlil Taylor, a former Penn State commit.

Visit mchezo.life for more information.

247Sports Composite ranks the Gisbonia, Pennsylvania native as the No. 13 wide receiver in the country and the No. 70 overall prospect in the 2027 class. According to Sam Spiegelman of Rivals, Nebraska, Georgia and Ohio State are the clear frontrunners. Still, Colorado, along with Indiana and Penn State, is a major factor per Spiegelman.

Taylor will be in Colorado on April 11, but will also visit Georgia (March 28) and Indiana this spring.

The Buffs joined Taylor's recruitment late, only offering him this past February. Clearly, Deion Sanders and company like their chances to make a late run, and getting him in for the coveted spring game visit is only more good news.

Sanders' program is desperate for a major recruiting win after struggling to attract an elite-level prospect in the 2026 cycle. Landing Taylor still seems like a long shot, considering the blue blood programs still in the mix, but as Buff Nation knows, when it comes to a Deion Sanders-led program: don't count him out.

Real Madrid president ‘obsessed’ with the renewal of star attacker – Romano

The appointment of Alvaro Arbeloa has been a game-changer for Vinicius Jr., who has emerged as one of Real Madrid’s most impactful players in recent months.

Visit bettingx.club for more information.

The Brazilian international has started scoring again, most recently securing a brace in the win over Atletico Madrid while starring in the victory over Manchester City in the Champions League.

Thanks to his resurgence, Vinicius’ future at Real Madrid doesn’t look bleak at all, with the club keen on tying him down to a new contract.

Florentino Perez obsessed with Vinicius

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ‘obsessed’ with the idea of renewing the contract of Vinicius Jr.

Perez is a huge fan of the Brazilian and wants him to stay at the club beyond his current contract, which expires in the summer of 2027.

There was a phase earlier in the season where it looked like Vinicius Jr. would leave the club, especially after the poor experience he had with Xabi Alonso.

However, the situation has changed completely since, with Perez and Vinicius sharing a strong and healthy relationship.

Real Madrid, for their part, have always been keen on tying down the explosive attacker to a new contract and the talks are ongoing.

The Spanish giants do already have an offer on the table. It is now up to the two parties to negotiate the finer details and come to an agreement.

Vinicius’ lofty wage demands have been a problem for Los Blancos in the past. Whether or not those can be meted out on account of their improved relationship remains to be seen.
